Has a new "psychic" appeared? I have just received a letter from Samantha in Austria telling me I am the winner of £10,500, but I must send her £10 for a "very special reading which will be to your benefit". Funny, though, I noticed that the address was written in exactly the same style as the letters I keep receiving from Vitamail. Maybe Samanatha should look in her crystal ball and she will see she will not get anywhere with me. I learned my lesson with Vitamail!

Is this Samantha of PF21, A-6842 Koblach, Austria? My mother (deceased 11.02.04) received letters from "her" 18.10.04, 09.03.05, 07.04.05, with letter codings RE02040120, RE03050400, RH01050401 respectively. (Curiously in my logs, I have "A-6842 Koblach" also in Switzerland - for Mr Jean Dupre & Mr John Starck (c/o Wilsor) & Prof John White (c/o Angelina).)

Yes, same address. I wonder if it's just one person going under other names or if it's the same group running all these scams

I think that the reply address is a box - with many scammers using the same company (with different box numbers); but more than likely they are linked. You'll get the trading names ("Samantha", "Mr Jean Dupre", "Marie Callas", etc), which belong to a holding company ("Star Winner Solutions", "Eva Lorca", "Alpen", "Calypso", etc), but if you dig into the holding companies, you'll possibly find that one or two (or so) individuals run them - possibly with connections between the individuals. (eg Eric Sack runs quite a few holding companies, I think you'll find) See also: icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/eveningchronicle/eveningchronicle/tm_objectid=16203999&method=full&siteid=50081&he adline=my-terror-of-clairvoyant-name_page.html (copy and paste into browser) which decribes a case of a typical target for postal scam.
