I received 2 letters from "her" so far. One of them offered the Sacred Ring of Prosperity And Wishes for only 5.00 (I should have done that one) but I lost the paper and just forgot all about it. 2 months later, they sent me another offer (even though I did not respond to the 1st) and this time it was asking for MORE money! This time it was 25.00 for the ring, but also for a guide to oppurtunities in 2005. She said my fortune was to win large amounts of money like 999,999.999 but in reality she did not know my date of birth yet, so how would she know this? The whole letter sounded like BS, but it also was a great sales letter, if it wasn't true, because I fell for it anyway, and sent the 25.00 and it's been over a month now and I have not gotten anything. My "lucky dates" for the triple 9 as she calls it are almost up, so I wrote her another letter to see if they ever got my payment. According to most of you here at this site, she is a scam, but I read her magic book and that had a lot of TRUE stuff inside of it, believe it or not, we have not been told the truth about herbs, etc from the mainstream media. At least Maria Duval tells the truth about them. Also she said my astral chart is about to be flooded by a luminous wave of energy which caused extreme good luck, and mu luck has gotten better recently, although I lost my business and got into a serious car accident! (I know it sounds bad, and it is, but it's still an improvment from my previous luck) I've also recently received around 999.00 which was psychic in my opinion, because she said I would receive a check that would either be 999.00 9999.00 and up. I received it for doing no work what so ever, so don;t discount her abilities yet. It's worth a try if you ask me. Especially the 5.00 offer, what do you have to lose besides 5.00? I hear about false hopes. Well, most people do not believe in her anyway, and the ones who DO send her the money SHOULD believe in it, you know what I am saying? And since I do not have any proof that she is a scam, I do not believe in "false hopes" as of yet. I think if she is telling the truth, that there is nothing wrong with that. She could be sending out positive energy to her customers (in exchange for money, I know it sounds like Bullnuts, but she may need that money to allow her to do this possible excellent business of sending positive energy to her customers) which causes them to receive good luck. Everyone here believes in energy I hope, if you don't then how do you explain the world being here?

Where to start?
You start off by being doubtful, Next you seem certain that it's a scam. Then it's worth risking money sent to a PO Box number.
No doubt there is some truth in her writings, I admit that in the website. But she isn't the best source of anything. One thing I can predict for the future; you will receive mailings from all and sundry, if you send money to Astroforce.
Of cource energy exists, but you won't get it from her by sending money to her bank account.
The only advice that I can offer is this, don't send any more money; ask for a refund of the money you have sent, on the grounds the the goods/services were unsatisfactory.
When I saw your chosen name, I thought I'd have a chance to confront the source of the confidence trick played on my partner. It may be a good idea to change it, perhaps becoming a member.

Sorry about that. I didn't mean to name myself that, I think I meant to put it in the subject line. Anyway, I actually believed in her, until I saw all this info on the net saying she is a scam, and I still have not received anything at all, and I did send the money over a month ago, so she definitly was wrong in the part where it said she would "Rush the package to me"
Thanks

As you have not yet received what you paid for, please put in a request for a refund of the money you sent. How did you pay, check, postal order, or credit card?

Thanks to sceptic for the information.
It makes very interesting reading. So very business-like, our Maria, isn't she?

Hi, (still haven't received anything or heard from her) Well I probably made a mistake, (I was going to send a money order) but I sent cash because I saw that she accepted cash, and at the time I actually trsuted her almost 100% because I could already notice my luck getting better, and she mentioned that those luminous waves were already starting to ripple through my astral chart. Have you ever heard of the Triple 9? She mentioned that was associated with these lucky dates this year, or something similiar. She even worked out those dates in numerology to become 9 for each (therefore the 999) I think the 1st was Jan. 24 or something, the 2nd was Feb. 16 and the 3rd Was Mar. 27 (I might be off on these, but if I am correct then they would each = 9 in numerology.

The only triple 9 I've heard of is to dial 999 and you'll get the emergency services, eg the police.
Marie Callas has at least twice sent a triple 7 message (once right at the beginning of this year, once earlier last year, and possibly again last year) to my deceased mother. The latest 777 has special dates which are [supposedly] 07/02/2005, 06/03/2005 & 05/04/2005 (and obviously 04/05/2005, 03/06/2005, 02/07/2005 & 01/08/2005 - a total of 7 dates: spooky or what? I prefer what...cos there's also 16/02/2005, 25/02/2005, 15/03/2005, etc which also have a digital root* of 7).
* digital root - the digital root of a number is obtained by adding up all the digits of a number; if the result is not a single digit, repeat with this number, until a single digit remains - the digital root. This process is also known as casting out 9's - as you add up, everytime you get above 9, subtract a 9 from the result. Alternatively, to work out the digital root of a number, it's the same as the remainder when the number is divied by 9, except that a 0 remainder is replaced by a remainder of 9.

[PS I'm a mathematician]

A very good site. I ran each page through my translation software program. As he? links to my two websites, I'll make a link to his.
I did once have a questionnaire, but as very few visitors filled it in, I deleted it. I take his point about spam in email and guestbooks, but I would like to contact him directly.

I just wanted to put this information out there...I've been contacted a number of times in the past 6 weeks by "Maria Duval" making all sorts of comparable claims and promises that others are reporting - I've sent no $$, but if anyone is interested she is using a New Jersey address for her correspondances: Maria Duval 55 Madison Avenue, suite 400 #4070 Morristown, NJ 07960-7348 I hope this is of some benefit to someone out there. On a similar note, I've also recently received mailings from someone calling herself "Dr. Marissa Von Trapp." Like all the rest, she makes promises of performing rituals, spells and invocations on the person's behalf, selling talisman's & spiritual readings, which will bring increased wealth, love, protection and the attraction of one's "twin flame" (deeper spiritual connection than a regular ol' soulmate.) She promises immediate psychic "crisis intervention" for a mere $25 bucks (regular cost for these services is a whopping $625.) Her return address is in Beverly Hills, CA, which is just on the other side of town, so I decided to drive over to the offices and see if I could run into her. The photograph printed on her literature represents her as a blonde woman but the people in the building said that there is no woman, matching that description working out of that office and that they are not sure who they are in her suite because people are rarely there, but they "do get a lot of mail"...Anyone have any info or dealings with this "Doctor of the Supernatural?" Dr. Von Trapp 119 N. San Vincente Blvd., suite 205 Beverly Hills, CA 90211 Go in peace, believe in the power of love and don't forget to laugh everyday. We, each of us, have all the answers already!!!

I just wanted to say Thank You. I recieved a letter from this "Maria Duval" and I sent in $10.00 and a letter that stated if you need monetary help, here's ten dollars, but you shouldn't try to scam people, boy was that a bad mistake, now I get all kinds of stuff in the mail and I've been searching for info for the past two days, I'm glad I found this forum. T he letter I recieved after I sent the $10 was a astrology report with the wrong astrology sign and the wrong birthday and the wrong age, I didn't ask for anything in return but they sent stuff anyway, but Thank You now I can send any extra money to someone who really needs it. ;D

Thanks for the info. (That NJ address someone wrote above is the same one I sent the 25 dollars to a couple of months ago...and never received anything) Well, Jan. 28th was supposed to be the start of the lucky day and the day where I would possible win the lottery, etc. However, I never received anything, and I am starting to think I never will. I wrote them another letter and included my phone # and everything telling them to please let me know what is going on with my order. No response. Some help they are. I actually believed the sales pitch they gave, because it sounded true, and maybe it still has some truth, and the mail got lost. That would have been a major demon to make that mail get lost though.. Anyways, there was another wierd psychic happening with the Maria Duval Book of Magic exposed by Kevin Harrington when I was reading about how to determine if your luck is with you or not when playing poker, etc. Anyway she (the book)said to shuffle a deck with your left hand I believe and then pick out 12 cards or something like that. Then check and see if the one of the cards is either an Ace of Diamonds or a Jack of clubs(It's been about a week since this happened so I cannot remember the exact cards she said, but it was 2 certain cards) The 1st card I looked at was one of the lucky cards. The 2nd one was the same card, but different suit. She said just having one meant you had great luck at that time, so I should have played the lotto after that happened to see if I won anything! I would not have been suprised if I did, because I do not believe in coincidences like that. Sure it could happen occasionally. (2 out of 52 chance I guess to get the right card), but when stuff happens everyday that would be those same or worse odds, then you know it's not a coincidence, and that it is a psychic mystery of nature.
PS- I really wish I would have gotten that package from "Maria Duval" It was worth the 25 dollars just to see it, but she never sent it. So, I am more bummed out that I will never see my "precise guide to oppurtunities in 2005" than I am about losing 25 dollars. (And I am poor) Do you think asking these people for a refund would even matter? I mean, they've taken my money and totally ignored me so far.

Yes, ask for a refund, it will only cost you a 40 cent stamp. Keep a copy, and report them to the FTC and USPS if you don't get at least some of your money back.
There is a form to file a complaint, at the bottom of the Year 2005 page on the website.
You will probably get flooded out with junk mail now, so if you haven't already registered with the Mail Preference Service, do it NOW. (See the link "Junk mail prevention for US and Canadian citizens")
Let us know what happens.
