I have received this scam today (16 March) stating I had won £40,000. This was also from LLN, PS Box 4, 5690 AA Son, The Netherlands. The return address on the envelope is NL 0041, 9 Trident Way, Southall, UB18 7NL. I, too, have rung the number but constantly engaged. I admit to being taken in initially but became suspicious at the direct debit requirement. Having read the threads here I am now going to put this through the shredder; they nearly got me! If I really had won a prize there ought to be no financial catch. I found an article on the BBC at news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/uk/2064883.stm highlighting the dangers. Also have a look at some info I found at the DTI, at: www.dti.gov.uk/ccp/topics1/pdf1/prize.pdf Also have a look at a Guardian article: tinyurl.com/ysjqx Or you can send me a cheque for £40,000, whichever you think is most reasonable! ;-(
