Hey it's not as bad as I was scammed. I get two or three letters a day on average and can't get them to stop coming. I stopped responding to them recently but they keep coming up with new ways to lure you in. Finally I decided to just decide which mail I should throw away and which to keep and now I throw all psychic letters away. In total I have probabaly paid about twelve hundred to fifteen hundred or more to these people.

I recently opened a new letter the other day and you have to read the guarentee! I couldn't believe it! I do not know if Kevin or any body else here has seen this before but I figured I'd share!
"...Reflect carefully in your soul and conscience BEFORE asking for your money back. Otherwise your subconscious would risk retaining the imprint of what it would regard as a 'failure of mutual trust'. And it could be 'torn' between two opinions. It might wonder if it really should bring you benefits for which you had not paid the fair price. A kind of 'blockage' might result which would prevent you from being able to obtain what you are asking for..." But earlier in the letter she says this, " Your subconscious does not think, nor does it decide: IT OBEYS AND FAITHFULLY CARRIES OUT WHAT IT BELIEVES YOU ARE ASKING OF IT!" Isn't that sort of a contradiction?

Im Ian and I live in Baltimore. Yeah, I send money to David Phild and another youll win the lottery psychic and Peter Popoff the Christian guy - I even sent to get some money from some so called wealthy family in Nevada. The thing with the Bible is I prayed to Jesus Christ to heal my finances by giving me a lottery win and it didnt happen based on a Bible verse which states if you believe youve recieved you will. Thats bogus. You know how they say its all a numbers game? Well as a hobby I love numerology and find it scary because numbers in this universe are so powerful - but even so, Im much more likely to pass in debt than become a millionaire. "The odds get even - you name the game" Neil Peart of the rock music band Rush. Im Ian and my email is ianscott333@yahoo.com if you read this and want to chat. Maria Duval's annoying - Sylvia Browne's something though - in a way.

Can we now say that dear maria is the Mother of Manipulation?
Frankly, the business must be in dire straits. In europe the consuber authorities have banned all adverticing in the name of maria duval. They seem to be watchfull too and seem to monitor the results of their actions. Perhaps this is the particular reason why in germany people have received posts from divinah, who happens to look exactly like maria duval. An attempt to bypass the ban of the duval business if any. Another observation is that currently many people are propably requesting their money back which tendency certainly needs and has thus triggered a responce from the business gnomes.
In germany a widely spreading magasin Bild am Sonntag recently published a three page maria duval article, assumedly critical. There is to be expected at least a couple of television features on the same thema in german language too. The media seems to have interest in this as long as there is a continuous internet activity around this thema.

Hi Kevin
I found your web page by accident and I am so glad I did. I recently sent Marie Duval $10.00 in cash and have yet to hear from her. Was also stinged by Sophia Monroe amongst others.
Thanks to you I now realise how stupid I have been. Unfortunately when one has financial problems, we tend to hope that there is someone who can help.
Many thanks
Cassie
PS have you or your readers heard from a "Miss Elizabeth" ?

I recently received notification from Irene Tremp asking for $46. She claims she is the only one who can harmonize your astral waves with the cosmic waves of the universe. I feel for the beginning of this Eva Lorca scam by sending in $51.00 to receive $26,000 that I had supposedly won. I realized it was fishy when I got this second notification. Has anyone ever sued Eva Lorca for this scam?--Nancy

I sent Maria Duval 10.00 for the "Change your life" manual 3 weeks ago and lo and behold - today received further correspondence from her. Apparently I will not be receiving any manual, but her precious talisman and a specially prepard free personal consultation.
She now requests that I send her $45.00 for "3 Personal Positive Magnet Psyic Aids" which will enable me to seek Happiness and Good Fortune. This is of course a discounted price!
No mention of the millions I was going to win for the original price of $10.00 She is I see still operating out of NJ
IDEA. Why not put her picture and all her scam buddies on "America.s most wanted" for all to see. Perhaps this would be a way to put them all out of business for a couple of years.

Every time I log onto the site, I am amazed at the number of people who are receiving mail from Maria Duval. As I have mentioned before, I sent her $320.00 (Silly Me) and received a software produced horoscope, magical pictures of maria, chants and all sorts of other rubbish.
Under her unconditional guarantee, I requested my money back, for all the readings and enchantments. I have so far received $160.00 back and the cheques did not bounce.
I have now written to her 4 more times and have receivedno response, except further mail promising great things will happen to me in Love, Money amd Work. Don't they realise that when you ask for your money back, you have lost faith, if you ever had any and you most probably don't want to hear from them again.
I have now contacted the New Zealand Commerce Commission and made a complaint about the advertising and lack of refunds. At this point in time I have not had a response from the commission, but will keep the forum informed.
For those other people who have been scammed, please contact your equivilent to our Commerce Commission and make complaints. Some how we must stop these people.

i would just like to say that for the past 5 years i have been receiving stuff from the likes of sonie monroe, maria duval, int para centre, but the best one so far was from Ted Krammer from Gallery Originals 3285 Cavendish Blvd Suite 472 Montreal Canada. I had been chosen to receive 2 awards and i have to ring 0800-917-4173 to find out all about it. i rang and was told someone would ring me back. Ted Krammer rang and and told me through a promotion they were doing i was to receive either £2,000, £3,000, diamond cut bracelet, cruise for 2 4 days 3 nights or £5,000 car or the money. FANTASTIC i thought, but then the crunch, i had to part with £450 to receive a painting with certificate of authenticity to get my awards. I hasten to add we argued for over an hour because i did not believe him. I then started my search to find this so called company. They do exist, but not in canada, in new york usa. I rang them and was told NO PROMOTIONS were being held on behalf of their company. So you see it pays to check. I could have lost alot of money but did not fall for it. I reported the above to RECOL complaints in canada and also phoned trading standards in the uk. Ted Krammer also has a side kick called Stan Flanders and their so called secretary is called Janet. I normally pump for info and get as much as possible before taking the matter further. I gave a short interview on the radio just over a year ago warning people not to get caught up in these scams. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourselves a favour and dont send money to these people, you will get nothing in return.

Master Zholtan and his Magic-Lotto scam using 6923 Bregenz, Austria; via Royal Mail HQ12146. No sign of either on Google...
But it does show the promise by Royal Mail, to stop handling scam junkmail, is being broken.

Well, I thought Maria had forgotten me, but it looks like I'm back on the mailing list again. I have received today, another letter from her or who-ever she is.
Previously, the addresses on the envelope were from Australia but now they are post marked in Singapore. (No 29 Tampines Street, 92, Singapore, 528879)
Again she is offering me this money back guarantee that if within 30 days I have not received a large sum of money, she will refund my $80NZ. we all know what that means. This time she has offered me the "The Great Secrets of Powerand Money" and the "Powerful Secret of the I CHING".
Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know she has changed her address down here, thats if it even exists.
I am going to follow up on my complaint to the Commerce Commission and if that doesn't help with this hoax, I will write to the TV networks and also Radio stations in the hope that something can be done about this organisation.
Mike
