Thank God for these postings. I was saved from losing 45.00! After replying to what appeared to be an add from a parapsychology institute studying lottery and claiming to give you the 5 factors of winning big I recieved a letter introducing maria duval as helping to give you your "Grand Calander Of Fortune". The letter was very convincing! Asking for 45.00 and guaranteed refund if not winning lottery within 6 months. I was compelled to check the internet after making out the check and your replies were what I Found..THANK YOU!! I want to help others so in case you havent gotten this info yet...Here's what I can tell you! 2 addresses given Maria Duval c/o The National Parapsychology Center 11064 Queens BLVD #460 Forrest Hills NY 11375-6347
money to be sent to Maria Duval c/o The National Parapsychology Center 55 Madison Ave., Suite 400 #4070 Morristown, NJ 07960-7348
The add I replied to I found in a flyer magazine by the name of "Clipper". It features coupons of local businesses in our area.
The name of Albert van Koenig- project director was at the end of the first part
My question is should this magazine be notified of what they are soliciting?
I hope this is of help. Thank you for helping others..myself included.

Yes, please contact the publisher of this fake 'questionnaire', and let them know the real story behind it. See if you can get them to print an apology or an article based on the information available.
Thank you for the addresses, Maria Duval seems to be quiet here in the UK at present, but the crooks using her name are trying the scam on a different audience.

I have reveived a letter from Lise & Rose recently. I am very glad to have found your web site. Being "elderly" made them seem viable somehow. HowToComplain.com has a few listings of complaints about them. Let's all continue to stick together & warn eachother of these scams. It is important to know what's real & what is purely fake. Sometimes it's hard to tell, let's all watch out for eachother so we never get scammed. Luckily I was able to avoid it, someone who hasn't found this site or others similar may not be so lucky. Would anyone happen to know about "Pasqualina" or "Sara Freder" by chance? Please respond to this message if you have any information on either of them.

Sara Freder seems to be so similar to the Maria Duval identity, that it is probably from the same source. I don't know anything about the Pasqualina name though.

Moved from another topic and posted here.
hi,I'm Regah72,I came across your website quite by accident and i'm glad I did! Like many others I too am a victim. Of the different names that you have listed I can verifyabout half a dozen or better. Such as Taylort, Marie DuVaul and many others. I too have lost plenty of money not knowing it was a scam! What is there that can be done?? If there is anything I can do please contact me Shladyred@snet.net. I still have a problem with Taylort and Sri Shakti. I don't know who they are or how they get in contact with me. Some how they received my credit card number and since Jan. they were putting $45.00 on it every month. I have now cancelled that card! HELP! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Regah72!

Kevin I have been receiving emails from Sara Freda for about 6 months now. If you want to have a look at one of the web pages I get sent then here it is: www.sara-freder.com/code15/index.asp?CClient=04211/5142421It is addressed to me and is on the same bent as Maria Duval. I have not sent this person any money, but as I explained in my other post, I did send $320NZ to her and managed to get $160 NZ back, but have not received any further monies. I have thought about going to my bank and requesting information regarding the cheques and where they came from, but have not done anything yet. The refund cheques were New Zealand, Bankof New Zealand cheques and they didn't bounce, but then again, none of what Duval predicted came true either. you might be able to make something out of the Sara Freda web site or I might use my tacking software and see where that takes me. Regards Mike Chappell

Hello, I too have received all sorts of mail from Maria Duval and others like her. What I want to know is has anyone in the U.S. tried to sue her for fraud? If so, how did it go? If not, I would like to hear anyone who would like to join me in pursuing this an option

Astroforce Inc, trading as Maria Duval, was prosecuted in the US in 1996 or 1997. I don't know what the result was, but it clearly had no long term effect.
Why not see if you can get a local radio or tv station interested? It might trigger a large number of enquiries to start a class action.

Hi there. I never in a milion years would have expected me to be scammed by maria duval. I found your page and the one at voy.com and realized that my letters were the same as the ones posted on this site. She has changed some of the words around, though. But it is pretty much the same. She sends i ching cards, does tarot readings, rents statues, seances and many other things. I can give you guys more information if you want. I can't believe I was sucked in. I guess I always knew it was a scam. Thats why I did an internet search on her name. I just so wanted to believe that my life and could become easier and more happy. I've had more than a few difficulties, lately. The one thing she keeps saying over and over, which got me over and over again, is that in my life up until now I have not been able to take advantage of all the MANY oportunities that have come my way. And that she would help me to see the oportunites coming my way, because I cannot see them myself. And I fell for this crap??? I looked back at all the letters she sent me and I cannot believe that I fell for this!! I feel like an idiot. I only sent a total of a few hundred dollars. Probably $300-400. So I'm not so upset. Sorry this is kinda long. I just felt like getting out my frustrations. Thanks!!

It is funny, how these guys, Maria Duval, (www.sara-freder.com), Sara Freda etc all seem to say the same thing. They all pray on peoples insecurities and emotional issues. I suppose thats how they catch everybody out.
As I mentioned previously, I have been receiving unsolicited emails from sara Freder for 12 months now. They seem to arrive every 2-3 weeks and are now starting to repeat themselves, even though she states that she has just had some form of premonition.
I have been saving each web page she sends me, as after each new premonition, my web page changes. It seems they now have gone around in a big circle and she is now repeating herself, although she says they are new events that are going to happen and only she can guide me through these events.
She must have a very poor nights sleep, because she always seems to wake up in the middle of the night thinking of me and then going to check my file. I presume I am not the only person she is trying to con, so must be up and down like a yo yo, all night. She tells me I had an extremely bad experience when I turned 13 years old and only she can help remove all my bad luck.
It would be extremely interesting to see if Sara Freder and Maria Duval have anything in common except for being con merchants

I just started receiving emails from Sara Freder as well and she said the same thing to me!! I haven't paid for anything from her, though. She says that my case is the most exceptional case she has ever seen and that all the negative energy came from my 13th birthday! Her emails were amusing. I atually enjoyed reading them. She told me that my bad luck comes from someone who put a curse on me. She said it was most probably an elderly person and they are probably dead by now. She said she had to do some dangerous action to alleviate all my bad luck. I wonder if there is one person to trust out there that practices this stuff?

Jennifer, I think she is just another scammer. I decided to keep all her information she sent me, to just compare it with anyone else who received emails from her.
I do have a clairvoyant (spelling) here in New Zealand who is very good. Right down to names and dates. I find her quite scarry with some things.
Sara Freder appears to be just another who scams money out of vulnerable people and when people are vulnerable, for what ever reason, they sometimes cling to anything for hope. I have not sent her any money, but from what you have written here she is sending the same to everybody. Bye the way, i am not saying you were or are vulnerable.
I'm still $160 out of pocket with Maria Duval, but at least she sent me $160 of the $320 I sent her

I'm not even gonna bother getting my money back. I have not calculated how much I lost but it is in the $400 range for sure. I sent out lot of money. I'm not really angry about the money. Well, I am but it is the fact that I trusted her blindly. I still cannot believe that I did this to myself. I just found out last week that she was a scam so it is still fresh in my mind. Lately, I have been depressed a little. Probably a little vulnerable, but after this you can bet that I won't let this happen again!

I hope offence was not taken by my comments, as it was not meant.
It just annoys me how these people, the likes of (Maria Duval and Sara Freder) can continually get away with these frauds and the government agencies set up to deal with such fraud, never seem to warn people or stop these scams in their tracks.
I hope this web site helps people and warns them of the scams. Thanks for setting the site up Kevin.
