The company, now trading as Biotonic, is still operating, using the same methods as TV Direct Distribution. It was featured on the BBC TV programme Watchdog last night. www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog/reports/personal/personal_20050927_2.shtmlA "winner" was sent a worthless "cheque", and was asked for his photograph, which he sent. It was later used in another brochure, where he was described as a winner of £4,500! The company, run by Jean-Pierre Verdi ckt, was tracked down to a Paris address, but the reporter was prevented from entering by determined security personel. just thought I would check these people out. Received notification of winning £15,500.this morning. Very convincing paper work apart from the obvious having to place an order for not less than £25. A very cruel scam for someone who £15,500 could make their life worth living. Why are they still allowed to trade.
