Hi I replied to an advert in a Sunday magazine ayear ago from this woman(My friend!).At the time my life was not happy (well of course or I wouldnt have replied!)I parted with £30 & She sent me a ritual to perform, although the dates she gave me to perform them were a year out! I took this as a mistake & followed the instructions to the letter. Things did infact pick up for a short time but I now realise it was more of a coincidence as I was bombarded with more letters during last year. The second and third I responded to and parted with another £60 as I was scared of losing the chance of all she promised me ,but when the letters started duplicating themselves as if she had no recolection of sending them previously I realised Id been stupid in parting with my money.Reading the letters on this site are familar.I to have recently received the letter about Nicos the Greek and today another predicting more good fortune this year .(I am going to win £77,700 in the next month.) I wrote to her in the summer explaining nothing had come true regarding her predictions (I never got a reply) & shortly after that my boyfriend ended our relationship so like another of your members I questioned whether she truly does have powers and that I had made her angry.I know that is irrational in truth but !!!. Surely if she truly sees the future these wonderful things would happen anyway without cost being involved. She preys on peoples vunerabilities and scares them into parting with their money.I do beleive there are genuine clairvoyants/pychics and those who practice the occult out there. I have recently contacted a wonderful woman who is helping me acheive my goals and keeps in touch and always answers my e.mails. I tried to find a websiteabout Marie Callas but there doenst seem to be one(that is how I found your site)However Maria Duval does and stikes an uncanny resembelance to Marie Callas in a blonde wig !!

I can't believe it! It looks like I have been taken for a ride. I received a letter in the mail from Marie Callas asking me to send $49.95AUD in the reply paid envelope and in return I was to receive her "Dated Prediction of Opportunities" and her special Talisman. As yet, I have not received anything back and this morning, when I tried to find a phone number for her through international directory I drew a blank, so I got on the net & found this site.
It is true, she is praying on vulnerable people. I am DESPERATE for the sort of cash she was promising me by the end of this month so I jumped at the chance of finding out how I could go about getting it. I feel stupid now. Also angry. How do people like her get away with this sort of stuff so easily?

She is listed in Australian with the Victorian Consumer Alerts under "FRAUDS" with a whole list of other "clairvoyants" who prey on people when they are down on their luck. I have met some con artists in my life but this lady takes the cake. She had ads running in the Sunday papers late 2004 which were very masterfully put together. You listed the 6 things that you would like to turn around in your life - fishing for info on your vulnerabilities. Proper clairvoyants don't ask you for info as they should be able to tell you everything without you prompting them.
She uses Suite 828, 10 Ubi Crescent, #01-63 Ubi Techpark, Singapore 408564 as her address for gullible Australians.
I sent off for her advertised "freebie" and was amused that it was posted to me from within Australia and not Singapore where she is suppose to be living. 6 months later I am still getting letters asking for $70.00 or more because "she is very anxious to help me because something wonderful is about to happen and she doesn't want me to miss this opportunity". More likely she wants to help herself. Probably has different addresses all over the world and is probably run by organised crime or at least a good sized ring of con people.
I like the bits in her letters that if you aren't fully satisfied with her predictions that she will give you youre money back - good luck.
Remember - if it seems too good to be true it is.

Well, "she" now owes me £40,000 for use of the name and address of my deceased mother to peddle "her" wares.
£30,000 was invoiced 28.03.05 to be paid by 28.04.05 otherwise a 4% daily late payment penalty charge will be levied. The next ware peddling letter I get will be sent with invoice and statement of account to the address given in the Uk Government's Patent site (in Holland) as opposed to the pox used in Aldershot.
It will be interesting to see if they're gunna finally stop sending these letters; and if they're going to pay the invoices.

Prolight Concepts BV Parklaan 9,4702 XA, Roosendaal,The Netherlands,
owners of the Marie Callas trademark, use the address of a firm of accountants to receive mail.
Just like many of the other scams.

I had noticed...the next letter they send peddling "her" wares will be invoiced, along with a statement of account, plus a reminder of the oustanding amounts, plus the late payment penalties, sent direct to the Dutch address.

Im glad ive found some people who have been screwed over like me (though id rather that we all werent). I am so so angry I could murder a raging bull! lol. Sorry - im just going to vent my anger here if you guys dont mind. I too, sent off a stupid little letter with all my little wishes ticked (more out of curiousty than anything else) and then got bombarded with about 8 or 9 letters, each within a few weeks. I ignored them all, I didnt even read half of them. Then I was having a particular bad day, just broken up with my long term boyfriend, my parents were having major difficulties and a million other things were going on...and, I decided why not? I might as well send off a cheque and see what happens... Well obviously nothing happened or I wouldnt be going pyschco on this site haha. I only wish I had have checked the internet before I sent off that stupid letter. I feel so so stupid and so angry. I dont think theres much we can do though, its obviously some address in singapore where "she" doesnt even live, and it seems as though the cunning little witch resides in Australia itself. All I can do is hope Karma comes and eats "her" up...I hope she is caught and then tortured by a huge drooling hippo daily until she dies! Ok, ive finished...

Also I just want to add that I will never ever trust anything like this ever again.
Maybe thats why this happened to me, so I now know what evil sort of people there are out there and so it wont happen to me later in life!
I did believe that there were some genuine people out there with talent and abilities to see the future/etc...but now I really dont think there is.
I think they are all scammers...too screwed up in the head and too lazy to work hard like we all do for the money they steal.
These people should not be able to get away with this, it makes me so pissed off that they have.
However, I am not going to let them fire me up too badly, they arent worth it.
I am, however, thinking of writing a letter to "Marie Callas" asking for the money back she stole and adding a few "choice words". I know I wont get the money back but im hoping someone will read it and it might make them think, if only for a second.
I'll be interested to hear from others who have had a similar experience from this so called "Marie Callas"...

Dear bee,
Please write and ask for a refund, I got some of my partners money back from the same company, but probably better to keep it business-like, no rude words, despite your present feelings!
It seems to me that the Singapore authorities should be brought into this matter, the scammers have been stopped from operating in Australia, but not in Singapore. It is likely to have Spring/Singapore Post involved somewhere.
It is not surprising that you gave in to the promises made by 'Marie Callas', but the scam depends on the fact that at least a few of the mailshots, out of the thousands sent, will reach people who are at a low point in life.
Best wishes with the refund request, Kevin.

I always advise a polite businesslike letter, asking for a refund under the term of their guarantee, on the grounds that the goods/services were not effective.
For Marie Callas and Maria Duval, write to Company Secretary: Mr Koetsheid in Holland.
ALBERT THEOFIEL KOETSHEID JUVENAATLAAN 86 OUDENBUSCH 4731 CV The Netherlands
Write down exactly what you paid, what it was for, and the date.
Best wishes, Kevin.

Seems like "shes" finally got the message: haven't heard from her for over a month now...time to send a reminder for the £40,000 "she" owes, plus £22,400 in late payment penalties to the end of May. (Now it's the turn of Nature's Range: been ignoring me since 26.08.04.)
