You (Your name) are the GRAND SLAM WINNER. So says a mailshot to my partner, from Haplin Data Services in Australia asking for a £10 payment. A check on the Internet reveals that it is a scam attempt, and will be filed in the shredder. I got a postage letter also telling me I was an OFFICIAL GRAND SLAM WINNER. All I needed to do was mail the issuer of the letter $10 to a postal box in Runaway Bay, Queensland, Aust. to claim my prize.
My first feelings about this mail was it was too good to be true. With reading the entry above I have had that confirmed. I think they also tried to phone me a day or so ago but I wasn't speedy enough to answer the call before they hung up. This was probably a good thing.
If you are contacted by Haplin Data Services with an offer of being an "OFFICIAL GRAND SLAM WINNER", I would suggest you get the mail in the shredder or garbage asap. They even made this one look like it was some type of run off draw for Lotto 649.

Everyone that gets one of these should mail the pre paid envelope back empty so it costs the scammers...maybe put a 10 dollar monopoly bill in heh heh!

The return envelopes are almost always unstamped, but a one-penny or one-cent stamp should land them with a postage due charge!  |

I have a visa purchase of $39.55 from Haplin Data dated 28/8, unique ID C1396 that I did not purchase, or if I did, it did not show that I was purchasing. I do not want to participate with these products and I wish there was a way to stop them sending emails.
I would like to cancel this and have a refund, but where does one find these people online among the multitude of names?
