Unfortunately, I have been a victim of this scam. I sent for this over two weeks ago, still nothing !!!! I want to know if there's any way of suing these people. I have been conned out of my money, and now I want it back! I paid with my credit card. Are there any comebacks?

Hi,
If it is the Sophia Monroe scam you are referring to, according to the Year 2004 page, Sophia Monroe has died. I don't know who is running the company now, but, as you paid by credit card, you should contact them. Tell them everything you can, give them my URL, and ask them to refund the money that you sent. In the UK, you have to wait 60 days before making a claim for non-delivery, it might be different where you are. Since this is a scam, you may get them to get going sooner. In the USA, Kinloch Marketing was handling the mailings and replies, but I don't know who is doing it elsewhere.
Don't forget to file a complaint with your local consumer protection organisation. If you replied to a newspaper advert, write to the publication, to report the dishonest advertiser.
Best wishes, Kevin.

Excuse me. I found your page on google.com.
I have received a letter from "Maria Duval" (55 Madison Avenue, Suite 400, #4070 Morristown, NJ 07960).
I do not know how she got my address. The letter was really long, so I will not describe it in great detail. She wants me to send her $10 so she can send me a copy of "the Great Secret Book of the Initiated".
Has anyone else received a letter like this? It is rather frightening.

You are on a mailing list, bought for a few dollars. Just like millions of other people around the world. If you send money, even $10, to the Maria Duval organisation, I predict that you will receive junkmail from all the crooks imaginable. If you care to read the Maria Duval booklets that I have put on my website, you will see that there is nothing in them that will make you wealthy.
Although the winning of money is usually the main thrust of the mailshot, as soon as you start sending for the merchandise, the BIG WINNINGS are never mentioned again.
The address you give will be a maildrop, designed to make sure that you don't find out where the money goes. Although they promise a "refund if not delighted", you won't get all the money back.
You are lucky that you checked up on the Internet before paying out your hard-won cash, thousands of others believe that they have been singled out for the undivided attention of Madame Duval, and some of them email me to find out what to do next.
The advice of consumer organisations around the world is this. Bin the mailshot, or better still, recycle it.

This is in reply to Loli... you are not the only one. I too, had a lovely long letter in my mailbox today. It sounds like it is similar to yours. Maria Duval's return address is 55 Madison Ave, Ste. 400 #4070, Morristown NJ 07960-7348. Like you, I find the whole thing a bit on the 'hoax' side. $10, for a manual I will never get. And how exciting: once we reply, we can sit for 15 minutes cosmically 'talking' to her... I'm picking up her thoughts already... she is thinking about her new car and new furniture paid for by Americans. Folks, there is not such thing as 'easy money'. Further, she requests your date of birth and place of birth. Make sure you hand her your social security number, while your at it. Then again, she IS psyhic... doesn't she already KNOW all these things? No longer content to rip off folks in the UK, it seems as if our gifted friend has made the journey across the Big Pond to test new waters. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. People like this give Holistic and New Age arts a bad name.

The french company who manage the Maria Duval, Anne Delaroche and Maguy Reno business is hold by a big boss named Michel Espié-Weil, a french, which created all the business in the 1990. In the 1995-1999, the main office was in Boulogne Billancourt, rue des Peupliers, near Paris. Perharps it's still there ? You must check. All the swiss, netherland, New York and so on companies in the world are factice and managed from Boulogne. They only help to make him difficult to find, and to give less money to French state. Swissland is less difficult with consumer laws and you pay less taxes. Different companies created in the 90's: - Laser developpement informatique - SEEIP (acronym of ESPIE) all in Boulogne Billancourt town. It's a mass business, sometimes mailings could be of 1 million copies.
Espié is a dangerous man, ready to pay for detective and will prosecute you if you are too near of his business. He drives a Ferrari and a Rolls Royce. At a time, he had a personal house is very chic Avenue Monceau in Paris and a villa in Juan les Pins near Cannes in the French Riviera.
The business is very difficult to be stopped because he knows perfectly the law and how to cope with it, he pays for law consultants to help him.
Look for "Anne Chamfort" trademark too, who were first exploited when he begun to run his business.

Just recieved another letter today - one I was almost tempted to answer - from Gabriel d"ANGELO c/o Ariella CP 243, Petit Lancy 2 Switzerland - Several months ago I responded to a full page ad in a Sunday newspaper circular for test subjects for the National Parapsychology Center in NY -m they wanted to research how many people would become lucky and start wining lotteries by following their "numbers". I responded and within weeks was deluged with mail fromMaria Duval - NJ adddress. I sent her $55 for a reading which I recieved and the mail has never stopped!!!!! I get offers for lotteries from Canada, Las Vegas, NV, other psychics, this Gabriel D'Angelo telling me I am the FIRST of 13 heirs sought after by the "Order of Druids" - at first I was interested in this letter and then I thought better and went to google where I found you - I believe in pagans and ancient rites. The letter asks for $38 - for a "contribution to the Order of Druids" Obviously, thousands of people got this letter and it makes me sick to think that I am getting this junk mail now!
I hope this helps everyone else save their money.
Melissa
PS - they even misspelled my first name as Melisa

I received a letter from the same address and will not be sending it back. Who is this person and why is she in New Jersey. If she is so rich and all of the big time celebritys use her, why does she need 37.00 from anyone? Glad I came to this website. I was going to send it to find out what she would send me back out of curiosity. You need to read the Bible. There is no one that predict the future for you or anyone else for that matter. All of these people are fakes. When the messiah comes and he will. You won't even know it. She wanted a picture of me and or a few strands of hair. That in itself should tell you something is wrong. Voodoo or Witchcraft.? Which?
